Is your firm using the full capabilities of Perfect Practice Imaging? Did you know you can tag electronically scanned documents, FAXes, digital pictures and even sound files to a case or party within Case Management? Since everything is stored in a single folder on your hard drive, you can even burn your case files to a CD and take them with when you travel. Contact your customer service representative for further details in using these features. |

Computers Need Sleep Too!!!Many times we get support calls from our clients and the only resolution to their problem is to reboot the computer. Would you leave your television on all the time, how about your car or your stereo? The same practice should carry over to your computer. Computers have a finite amount of resources and the only way to recover resources is to totally shut down the computer, (not just restart). Make it a new habit to turn off your computer at the end of each day.
Auto Apply Retainer Money to BillsWe have a new feature that will automatically apply retainer funds (applied from retainer) to your bills without visiting each matter's billing options screen. Please call me if you wish to discuss this option further.
Do you Read the Release Notes?Many of you don't realize you have the ability to color code your case list. Based on the status field on the ADMIN tab you can color code your case list. Add a color to the code via System Utilities/System Codes Maintenance/Case Status.
